With twenty years of experience in the pharmaceutical field most of his career at Pfizer, Ivan Chervotkin joined the Norameda team as Alliance Manager for Baltic states in spring 2023.
“The company is one I have long admired for its business-oriented approach and amazing internal atmosphere. I’m looking forward to launching initiatives from their new lineups,” said Ivan then.
After nearly half a year, we are taking a coffee break to chat with Ivan about his daily tasks and challenges. First of all, we are curious about what the Alliance Manager position is all about, as it is a new one at Norameda.
“This job is very delicate, similar to choreography when everything should work in sync. Alliance manager responsible for ensuring effective relationship governance, protecting their company’s assets, and maximizing long-term value for the company, its partners and customers, – explains Ivan. – It is a profession and a corporate function, requiring a defined vision, structure, goals, working methods, and metrics.”
Ivan Chervotkin moved from Ukraine to Lithuania a year ago. As a professional in the pharmaceutical field, he started to research local companies.
“As I’m still learning the Lithuanian language, it was important for me to have an English-speaking environment, and Norameda is an international company with a worldwide partnership network. Also, I was impressed with the business-oriented approach and the leadership. After meeting with Audrius Leiva, I had no more doubts about where I wanted to pursue my career,” says I. Chervotkin.
Norameda’s General Manager Audrius Leiva is also thrilled with a new team member: “Good people and seamlessly working team are the core values of Norameda’s success. I am pleased that our team is slowly but steadily expanding – the last one who joined us is Ivan. He is highly qualified in his field and fits perfectly into our atmosphere. I hope that he will stay here for a long time.”
After a few months at the Norameda, Ivan confirms that one of the key assets of Norameda – is an excellent internal atmosphere, “like a family”, and good work and life balance.
“I’m impressed with the speed of decision-making within the company. We are working very close and quickly, sometimes faster than our partners are used to”, says Ivan.
From the start at Norameda, Ivan has been focusing on working with a wide range of products by Organon, a global healthcare company and the new partner of Norameda. But shortly is looking forward to starting new partnerships.
“I’m also working on introducing innovative approaches to how we work. Out of scope of mind helps be one step ahead of your competitors. Even if the pharmaceutical business remains old school, you cannot ignore new digital technologies.” says Norameda’s Alliance Manager Baltic states.
